OVERVIEW: Short Order Cooks are production personnel and responsible for the flow and quality of short order menu items. We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a full-time POKER ROOM CAGE CASHIER. Seeking a team-player with a flexible work schedule (available days, nights, weekends and holidays). All applicants must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background. Misdemeanor theft convictions (petty theft, larceny, etc.) and felony violations will prevent the state from issuing pari-mutuel license) Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. OVERVIEW: Assist guests and staff in a pleasant and professional manner in compliance with Internal Controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Count drawer at start of shift, verify cash and chip amount. Document according to standard procedures Exchange Cash for Chips and Chips for Cash. Issue Cash Advance to patrons Issue and redeem player rewards, redeem lotto tickets and mutuel vouchers. Issue, receive, & verify dealer imprest banks Verify & record dealer tip cashout. Issue, Receive, and verify all money bags from various lines of business. Process vault buys for chips or cash replenishment.
