OVERVIEW: Aids executive in staff capacity by coordinating office services, such as personnel matters, budget preparation and control, housekeeping, records control, employee scheduling, payroll processing, tips recording, special management studies and other tasks assigned by management for the Clubhouse’s three departments Poker, Mutuels and Food &Beverage ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: § Studies management methods in order to improve workflow, simplify reporting § procedures, or implement cost reductions § Must be able to process department payroll and correct errors § Maintain employee schedules to ensure a complete staff for the proper operation of the Card Room, Mutuels and Food & Beverage (Clubhouse Departments), which includes updating time clock with employee schedules. OVERVIEW: Plans and establishes adequate security procedures for company and compound. Conducts physical security inspections to ensure the safety for employees, customers, vendors and greyhounds. LEADOUT OVERVIEW: Walk Greyhounds out for official races. LEADOUT FUNCTIONS:· Maintain proper care of the Greyhounds when leading them from the paddock area, down the track, to the starting box for their appointed race. Must be able to jog approximately 100 yards at a moderate pace. Ensure that each dog has the racing blanket, leash and muzzle on correctly· Perform other duties as assigned by Management * DOG HANDLER OVERVIEW: Remove Greyhounds from kennels, walks Greyhounds prior to official race providing exercise and warming muscles. Assisting State Of Florida Officials with capturing a urine sample of random Greyhounds. DOG HANDLER FUNCTIONS: Maintain proper care and control of the Greyhounds when leading them around in the Jenny Pit prior to official race. Sit with Greyhounds on viewing stand prior to entering the track.
