Getting the right cards to the right players at the right time smoothly and without exposing cards, turning board cards at the right time, keeping the bets and side pots straight, making change correctly, getting the correct rake unobtrusively, reading hands correctly, pushing up the board when the winner is found, pushing the pot to the player with the best hand, splitting pots correctly when necessary, and so forth. Remember to read all tabled hands, it is your job to find the winner even if the player does not see it. Mechanical Skills. Technique! The ability to shuffle and deal without exposing cards, handle chips, and the like. The shuffle procedure is shuffle-box-shuffle-shuffle, and remember to always clear your hand. Knowledge of the Games. Knowing and understanding the rules of each game, how the game is dealt, and the house policies and procedures and executing. Ability to control the Game. LEADOUT OVERVIEW: Walk Greyhounds out for official races. LEADOUT FUNCTIONS:· Maintain proper care of the Greyhounds when leading them from the paddock area, down the track, to the starting box for their appointed race. Must be able to jog approximately 100 yards at a moderate pace. Ensure that each dog has the racing blanket, leash and muzzle on correctly· Perform other duties as assigned by Management * DOG HANDLER OVERVIEW: Remove Greyhounds from kennels, walks Greyhounds prior to official race providing exercise and warming muscles. Assisting State Of Florida Officials with capturing a urine sample of random Greyhounds. DOG HANDLER FUNCTIONS: Maintain proper care and control of the Greyhounds when leading them around in the Jenny Pit prior to official race. Sit with Greyhounds on viewing stand prior to entering the track. OVERVIEW: Responsible for the production, display and recording of video and audio shows. Daily set up of associated equipment throughout the facility.
