Part time employees are expected to work up to 28 hours per week. All positions require flexible work schedule (days of the week, late evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays). Overtime work on "as needed" basis.

* * * Full-time BLANKET MASTER * * * $10.00 per hour
OVERVIEW: Responsible for all duties associated with identifying and checking greyhounds starting in schooling and purse races. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Assists with identifying and checking against the card index system of identification maintained by the Association, all greyhounds starting in schooling and purse races. · Reports to Paddock Judge any greyhounds that do not conform to the Bertillion card. · Assist with making adjustments to the muzzles or blankets on the greyhound before a race. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: · May fill in as Paddock Judge. · Report any unfavorable behavior to the Paddock Judge or Racing Secretary. · Perform other duties as assigned by Management. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: · Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws. · Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance. · Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others. · Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency. · Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior. · Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted. · Respond in a timely manner to all guests and employees. · Consistently observant and alert. · Mandatory Pari-Mutuel license to comply with the State of Florida, Department of Professional Regulations. OVERVIEW: Responsible for cleaning all areas assigned and maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA); works under the direction and policies of the employer.
